Our Staff

Tim came to New Sandy Creek in 1997 after pastoring in Virginia for five years. He received his education at Criswell College in Dallas, TX and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. He and his wife Debbie have four adult children and were married in 1985. Tim loves being with his family and enjoys reading and following sports.

Senior Pastor

Phyllis is the Music Director at New Sandy Creek. She is in charge of all aspects of our Choir Ministry, as well as serves on our praise team.

Music Director

Josh came to New Sandy Creek in March of 2020 and after a few months of leading worship each week, he moved into a full time role overseeing our student and worship ministries. Josh has served in ministry for the past 8 years in NC and Houston, TX. Josh has a certification in worship ministry from Southeastern in Wake Forest, and is currently pursuing his BA. He has three sweet boys and an amazing wife, which he married in March of 2012. Josh loves spending time with his family and being outdoors. He has a passion for seeing others come to Christ, and grow in their relationship with Him.
